How To Become a Model

Jeremy Meeks and Natural Diuretics

Jeremy Meeks’ Mugshot

If you’re a Twitter/X addict like me, you know who this guy is.

For everyone else, that is Jeremy Meeks, former member of the Crips street gang.

His mugshot went viral after it was released by the City of Stockton Police Department following Meeks’ arrest during a gang sweep for being a felon in possession of a firearm and grand theft.

Before we move forward, a word from today's sponsor - The AOB newsletter for learning about business and personal finance (I specifically loved their issue about which health insurance to get as a self employed individual)

As he was going viral on Facebook and X for his appearance, his mugshot was noticed by modelling agencies and, upon his release from Mendota Federal Correctional Institution in March 2016, he began his modelling career.

Since then, Meeks has walked the runway at New York Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and the Cannes Film Festival while working with brands like White Cross and Tommy Hilfiger.

He’s also been featured in a music video and independent films.

That mugshot really changed his life.

Models going viral overnight isn’t unheard of, and yet have you ever thought to question what makes them look that way?

How did Jeremy Meeks achieve the high cheekbones, hollow cheeks and strong jawline?

The easy answer is genetics and a low body fat percentage.

Fair enough, genetics play a role in having high cheekbones and the guy is clearly shredded.

But have you ever met someone who was skinny and yet didn’t have the hollow cheeks that Meeks does?

I was one of those people, nobody could explain it to me, I always got the standard answer - genetics.

But it made no sense, you hold fat in your face and your cheeks have muscles (look up buccinator muscles).

So why couldn’t you consciously develop hollow cheeks like Jeremy?

It seems like every Instagram kid nowadays is aware of mewing and jaw exercises to strengthen your jawline and raise your cheekbones in the process,

Here’s a video demonstrating mewing by Dr Mike Mew (yes mewing is named after him)

I’ve used this kind of knowledge for a few years now and it works.

Information that is less common however is that to really reveal the structure of your skull (for special occasions as an example), you can flush out water weight that your face holds through natural diuretics.

Water retention is why you always look puffy after you go out drinking, even if it’s a little bit.

Using natural diuretics like dandelion, hawthorn or juniper in the form of dandelion green tea etc. can help you walk the ramp for Tommy Hilfiger.

Short letter from me today but I’ve been researching this stuff a lot lately and might even be creating my own supplement soon.
